As a small island, surrounded by the sea, Japan has been struck by many disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis.  This also influences how Japanese people perceive nature and belief in invisible existence. In this talk, curator Miho Odaka will investigate how invisibility relates to Japanese photography and how Japanese photographers deal with invisibility within their work.

Speaker Miho Odaka is the Curator of Tokyo International Photography Festival.
