ON MY MIND - PHOTOGRAPHY & CONVERGING ART
STACEY BAKER / DARREN HARVEY REGAN
Belfast Photography Festival asked a group of Photographic Curators, Editors, Authors and Artists to share thoughts, ideas and images by artists who they feel explore the boundaries of photography through convergence with other art forms in the past and present.
This series of afternoon presentations gives these Professionals the opportunity to talk in a conversation about exactly what's on their mind in regards to photography's identity in a shifting landscape.

Stacey Baker - Photo Editor (The New York Times Magazine)
The New York Times Magazine is renowned for it's long standing, cutting edge use of photography, both in print and multimedia. Stacey produces weekly shoots from the magazine and has worked with photographers such as Massimo Vitali, Alec Soth, Paolo Pellergin and Lars Tunbjork. The New York Time magazine has been recognized with many prestigious awards including; World Press Photo, American Photography and the Society of Publication Designers, among others.
Darren Harvey Regan - Photographic Artist (uses photography, sculpture & installation)
Darren Harvey-Regan is a graduate of the Royal College of Art. His practice circles around photography's interaction with sculpture - the encounter of the two-dimensional with the third - and with processes and works that conflate, confuse or contract the meeting of these. His work has appeared in exhibitions and publications internationally and is part of the permanent photography collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
