Curator of Photography (Centre Pompidou, Paris, France)

Damarice Amao is a photo historian and holds a PhD in art history. She is working as associate curator at the photography department of the Musée National d’Art Moderne/Centre Pompidou. She co-curated numerous exhibitions with accompanying catalogues, including Photographie, arme de classe (Centre Pompidou/Textuel, 2018), Eli Lotar (Jeu de Paume, 2017), Jacques-André Boiffard. La parenthèse surréaliste (Centre Pompidou, Xavier Barral, 2014) and recently Dora Maar (Centre Pompidou, 2019) and Charlotte Perriand. Comment voulons nous vivre ?
