Join us for a lunchtime conversation with artist Frédéric Huska and curator and GTG co-director Peter Richards. Huska will reflect on his work, and his current exhibition at the GTG, Traces of A Traumatic Future.
The talk will take place within the exhibition space itself. It presents black and white analogue photographs of Taiwan’s coastline, places shaped by political tension and uncertainty. The project focuses on fourteen beaches identified as possible landing sites in the event of invasion, suggesting futures that may never happen, yet still influence how we see the present. Huska reflects on time, memory and how images carry traces of both past and future.
This a free event, and refreshments will be served.
We hope you can join us!
