TENX9 - One Photo One Story
A storytelling night where nine people have up to ten minutes each to tell a true story from their own life under the theme of ‘New Horizons’, accompanied by a photograph.
Opening Night: TOSS by Midden
MIDDEN excavates a fictional virtual midden, combining artefacts, images, text and film to explore destructive cycles of extraction, exploitation, consumption and waste through speculative, deliberately unscientific narratives.
Photoshop Basics
A technical course for beginners to Photoshop and those wishing to refresh their existing knowledge.
Irish Photo Network Symposium
A free afternoon symposium exploring photography in the digital age, from AI and disinformation to ethics and representation. Exploring Antrim and Newtownabbey with Photography
As part of the Home and Garden Show Ireland, Evanna Devine will introduce ‘Exploring Antrim and Newtownabbey’, a year-round project unfolding across the four seasons through four commissions and a public photography competition.

Public Images, Private Lives
Two panel conversations unpacking the themes and questions raised by the work of Swiss artists Thaddé Comar, Sabine Hess and Nicolas Polli. Thaddé Comar’s panel is hosted by Toby Smith, Belfast Photo Festival, whilst Sabine Hess and Nicolas Polli’s panel is hosted by Savannah Dodd of the Photography Ethics Centre.
This panel event follows ‘Clare Gallagher Talk and Book Launch’ after a 30 minute short break. Attendees of both events are welcome to stay for an interval with refreshments and snacks provided.
Before or after the event attendees can visit or book ‘Camera Obsolete?’ at Gallery 1.

Opening Night: ‘Camera Obsolete?’
Celebrate the launch of ‘Camera Obsolete?’ and Belfast Photo Festival 2026 at ‘Late Night Art.’ Conceived and produced by Belfast Photo Festival, audiences are invited to destroy, dismantle, recast or resist the transformation of obsolete cameras into new sculptural forms. Part participation, part spectacle and part material transformation, the exhibition forces questions of authorship, truth and the erosion of photography as a physical, tangible medium.
