This two-day workshop introduces participants to CMYK screen printing, the four-colour separation process used across many forms of colour printing. Led by artist and musician Neil Kerr, the course guides participants through the making of a full-colour screen print, from developing imagery to producing an edition of original works.
2 Day Workshop:
Session 1: Saturday 13th June
Session 2: Sunday 14th June
The workshop includes detailed instruction on preparing photographic and digital images for a four-layer CMYK screen print. Participants will work through image processing and registration in Photoshop, alongside screen preparation, set-up and printing.
Over the weekend, participants will learn how to create, expose and develop imagery onto screens, while experimenting with different approaches to colour and layering. By the end of the course, each participant will produce a set of prints to take home.
