Diana explores relationships between humans and other species. Her projects are critical responses to the processes of over-production, unlimited growth, and our approach to the environment. 

Diana uses photography, living matter, and found objects, creating work that is interdisciplinary and often appears at the interface of art and science.

‘The Ocean Within’ explores the hidden roles of fish as biological timekeepers and storytellers, embodying a collective memory of the water world.


Monsanto: A Photographic Investigation | 5 June - 11 July

Mathieu Asselin | 11am - 5pm: Tues - Sat

Monsanto’s superfund sites are affecting hundreds of communities and their environment with terrifying health and ecological consequences. Mathieu Asselins investigation, looking at the company’s past and present, aims to picture what Monsanto’s near future will look like.

Jim Mangan’s photographs of former Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints members reveal a different kind of resilience—young men cast out from their community who forge new identities as modern cowboys. Their mastery of horsemanship becomes a form of survival, role-playing, and self-determination, contrasting with the legacy of isolation and trauma embedded in their history.


Fragile As Glass: LGBTQI+ People In Ukraine Facing The Russian Invasion | 5 - 30 June

Sitara Thalia Ambrosio’s ‘Fragile as Glass’ documents the struggles and resilience of LGBTQI+ people during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Using photography and interviews in collaboration with the journalist Yana Radchenko, the project highlights the ongoing threats faced by queer Ukrainians.

Now and Then explores memory, identity, and diaspora, tracing Ye’s family history from WWII-era Tengchong to the Asian communities in Los Angeles. By blending archival photographs and contemporary portraits, the work blurs the boundaries between past and present, questioning what it means to belong.

‘Ordinary Grief’ is a story of reconciliation, identity and longing. In 2017, after 25 years of self-exile, Azadi returned to Iran to reclaim her history.

Group Exhibition | 12 - 6pm: Mon - Sun

Far more than a photobook library, this is a celebration of the world’s most current and compelling photography publishing, drawn from our 'Open Submissions' initiative. Alongside this, a special library curated by Fotofestiwal Łódź presents the Polish Photographic Publication of the Year selection, offering visitors the chance to browse, read and engage with outstanding recent works.

The project is a visual reference to how nature transforms the traces

of history at former nazi extermination camps as the surrounding biosphere seeps into the buildings and objects, filling them with organic matter.

The Queen’s Film Theatre will host a screening of ‘Sowing the Seeds of the Wild’ by Dyba & Adam Lach, followed by a Director’s Q&A and the official programme launch of Metamorfoza.
